The PolaColor Insight Pro software included with the product provides a simple interface and a tool for basic and advanced scanning tasks, compatible with both PC and Mac. You can save your images on the PC in TIFF and/or BMP formats, or on the Macintosh in TIFF, PSD, and/or JPEG file formats. The unit is matte black and compact, and comes with a SCSI-2 interface, a cable, a controller board, and AdvanSys's Super SCSI setup utilities. Also included are two carriers for 35mm strips and slides.
